About Us

Dr. Hansen graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2020. She has always been a proud Minnesotan native and started work at a small animal practice in the Twin Cities. Dr. Hansen joined Lyndale Animal Hospital in June of 2022. 

Dr. Hansen enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and the variety that comes with general practice. She enjoys getting to know her patients and clients, and developing individualized plans for each. She has a strong interest in internal medicine and palliative care. In her free time, Dr. Hansen enjoys cooking and baking, hiking, and visiting museums. She has two perfectly spoiled cats, Stanley and Emmilou, who run her house.

Dr. Stoddart graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. A rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery brought her to the University of Minnesota, and upon completion of this program in 2015, she had already fallen in love with the Twin Cities. Dr. Stoddart joined the staff of Lyndale Animal Hospital in October 2018.

Her primary interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, cardiology, and care for geriatric patients. Outside of work, Dr. Stoddart loves to travel, with particular interest in trying new foods. She otherwise enjoys getting outdoors, taking along her dog Wendell whenever possible.

Dr. Benson has committed herself to a rigorous training program in veterinary acupuncture through the Curacore Vet, and she is now a Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist (cVMA). The cVMA certification encompasses evidence-based integrative medicine practices upheld by science. Acupuncture is a treatment veterinarians can perform in place of more invasive procedures, or to lessen the need for medical drugs and even surgery. Dr. Benson is thrilled to offer integrative medicine services at Lyndale Animal Hospital.

Her veterinary interests include dermatology, ophthalmology, and behavior. In her free time, Dr. Benson enjoys camping, hiking, cooking, and hanging out with her husband, Liam, and her Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees, Zoe.

Jeni graduated with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology from Rochester Community and Technical College in May 2014 and became a certified veterinary technician in August 2014. She started working at Lyndale Animal Hospital in August of 2014.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her dogs Roy and Bernie Mac, cats Etta and Moo Moo, and tortoise, Paco.

She became a certified veterinary technician in October 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cycling, hiking and aerial acrobatics.

Stacy graduated from the Minnesota School of Business in 2010 with an AAS in Veterinary Technology. She has a strong love for dental prophylaxis, geriatric pets, calico cats, and finicky felines.

When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending her time volunteering at a local sanctuary for cats and dogs, or being outdoors with her husband on her 7 acre property in Big Lake. She has 2 dogs- Ratchet & Wallace, 2 cats- Darla & Patrick, and 2 foster cats- Mr. Cheeks & Tux.

Erin is originally from North Dakota but moved to the Twin Cities to start the Veterinary Technician program and graduated from DCTC in 2020. 

Erin has been working at Lyndale since December of 2018. She just got a cat of her own named Theo, and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family and all of their pets.

Paige is currently attending the U of M, majoring in Animal Science. She started working at Lyndale Animal Hospital in August 2018.

In her free time, Paige enjoys reading, kayaking, hiking with her dog, Callie, or hanging out with her cat, Luke.

Ginny graduated from the UMN with a degree in Archaeology in 2018 and followed a passion for animals into shelter and veterinary medicine work post-graduation.

She has a passion for behavior and training and works as a trainer outside of clinic hours and loves to talk about animal enrichment! She loves to hike and spend time outside being active and occasionally her cat tags along.

Shosie has been in the veterinary industry since 2019. Over that time, she has developed a passion for cat-friendly practices and earned her AAFP cat-friendly certification. In her free time, Shosie enjoys reading with her 3 cats and going on hikes.

Lydia graduated from the U of M with a degree in English. However, she has switched courses and has been working in veterinary medicine for 4 years now. She lives with her dog Mango, and her two cats Jeffrey and Donnie. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting family out east and loves going on boundary water adventures with her partner Hank.

Cammie has always described herself as a nerd first and everything else second. In 2016 she graduated from the UMN with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, and she continues to keep creativity present in her day-to-day life.

If she isn’t reading, drawing, or gaming, you’ll often find her working on diverse sewing projects both old and new. Her love and care toward her childhood dogs and current menagerie led her to begin working with the Lyndale Animal Hospital in July of 2019. Currently she lives in her Minneapolis apartment with her fiancé Casey, their rats, and their tarantula.

Jenna graduated from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. While she still does do some freelance photography, her passion for animals led her in a new direction.

She has been with Lyndale Animal Hospital since June of 2018. Jenna lives in Minneapolis with her rescue kitty named Weasley, and if you can’t tell by his name, she is also a huge Harry Potter fan.
